The second life of elephant dung

Our partner Michael

turns elephant dung into sheets of paper.

Elephants eat a lot of plants every day and expel them as well. Their digestive system does not grind food, so their dung is full of fibers that are at the origin of the manufacture of paper pulp.

By using this natural resource; 100kg of dung per elephant per day are transformed into sheets of paper. An innovative and unique way to save many trees and preserve our forests.

As a committed actor, he supports the most marginalised, especially women and rural communities by providing them with dignified working conditions, promoting craftsmanship and the local way of life.
